post.

The Health Economics Group, based within the Faculty of Health at UEA,
was established over 10 years ago and built a reputation as one of the
leading centres for health economics and related research in Europe. The
Group has extensive links across the Faculty, University, Region and UK
in many areas, including the assessment of costs and benefits, policy
analysis and decision making, and systematic review. 

We wish to make two new senior appointments

1.  Chair (or Reader) in Health Economics
2.  Chair in Public Health Economics or Modelling

The appointment of these research focused posts provide an excellent and
exciting opportunity for the postholders to contribute to leadership of
a strong developing research and teaching programme in Health Economics;
and a new research and teaching programme in Public Health Economics.

Both postholders will possess:

A good postgraduate qualification in health economics for Post One; or
involving substantial econometrics/statistics or similar modelling
training for Post Two,

An international reputation in the relevant field evidenced by high
quality publications and research income,

Experience in collaborative, inter-disciplinary, research projects,

Excellent communication and leadership skills and, at Chair level,

Substantial experience in leading research projects and, ideally,
research teams.
