Geographical Information Systems and Land and Property Gazetteer Officer (GIS/LPG Officer) Ref: SDC/08/7311 Salary Details: £21,411 - £22,845 per annum Job Term: Full Time Appointment Type: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, Derbyshire. Department: IT & Customer Services Do you have a detailed knowledge and understanding of Geographic Information and Property Based systems? The Council is looking for someone to take the lead in the use of GIS and related technologies, to enhance the value of corporate spatial data and to provide effective use of the data so improving the delivery of the Council’s services. The GIS/LPG Officer will take responsibility for the management, development and support of the Council’s corporate GIS and LPG systems.
