Dear list:

For those who use, or know how, the GMT software package: as an orthonet is just an orthographic projection centered in the equator and a meridian, it can be produced simply with this line of code:

psbasemap -P -R-90/90/-90/90 -JG0/0/14c -Bpg10WESN -Bsg2WESN -V --GRID_PEN_PRIMARY=0.5p --GRID_PEN_SECONDARY=0.1p > ortonet.ps

I attach a jpg file with the result produced. I cand send the vectorial ps file to anyone interested.

Thanks Jurgen for enlighten us.
Jose
