Renaissance Freelance Secondary Programme Manager for Greater Manchester Location: Greater Manchester Fee: £20,000 (incl expenses) Type: Part Time Freelance contract until 31 March 09 (approx 100 days) Closing Date: Wednesday 4th of June Consultancy Description: The Renaissance North West is looking for a part time freelance Secondary Programme Manager for Greater Manchester. The Secondary Schools Programme Manager will drive forward a partnership initiative which aims to support secondary school pupils in Greater Manchester through the use of museum and gallery resources. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can drive and manage projects, build effective partnerships and has a thorough understanding and experience of museum or gallery education. You will be expected to have experience of working with secondary schools, project management and developing and implementing training and support for staff. This is a freelance contract funded by the Museums, Libraries and Archives “Renaissance in the Regions” programme and based at The Whitworth Art Gallery.
