STATISTICS FOR PUBLIC HEALTH SURVEILLANCE - FINAL NOTICE

A one-day conference organised by the Open University Statistics Group

WEDNESDAY 21st MAY 2008 at the OPEN UNIVERSITY, MILTON KEYNES

CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATIONS: WEDNESDAY 14th MAY

This conference will focus on the statistical methods used in a broad
range of public health applications, including syndromic surveillance,
outbreak detection, pharmacovigilance, institutional performance,
monitoring of interventions. Speakers include Marianne Frisen
(Goteborg), Leo Held (Zurich), David Spiegelhalter (Cambridge & BSU),
Chris Robertson (Strathclyde), Stephen Evans and David Prieto (London
School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine), Simon Cauchemez (Imperial),
Heather Whitaker and Mounia Hocine (Open University). We welcome poster
presentations.
