Hello All

I was wondering if anyone can tell me the exact name of the act/statutory
instrument/departmental circular (I am not sure which it is) that banned
married women teachers in Ireland in the 1930s? I have found numerous
references to the fact that this happened (I believe in 1934) but I can't
find how it happened. It is not in the name or content of any act on the
Oireachtas website, although I am thinking it may have an obscure title.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

Best wishes,

Jennifer
