This year’s conference has guests from Scandinavia, America, Australia, the UK and beyond presenting papers on topics such as comedy in translation – International comedy stars – Early comedy – Australian comedy and much more.

Taking place in beautiful uptown Salford ‘Funny People Those Foreigners’ allows academics, practitioners and the public to talk, laugh and joke about comedy, humour on film and TV, in books and bars, in jest and in depth.
