Dear all,

thanks very much for everyone that replied.
With your help, I now know who took the photo, where, when and why (though the information here on the PA site is slightly inaccurate):
http://prints.paphotos.com/pictures_679845/Many-British-Asians-dont-feel-British.html
I also have a couple of useful online articles discussing the image and a few examples of how & where else it has been used.
So many thanks!

Now, if anybody has a copy of the BNP advert mentioned in this article:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/apr/10/archant.pressandpublishing
(included in this week's edition of the Hampstead & Highgate Express) I'd love to receive a copy (Scanned or posted to my dept in Loughborough, whichever is easiest)

thanks again
John

Dear all,

I am currently examining the political propaganda of the BNP, as I have previously told the list. As part of this, I am analysing one of their leaflets circulating as part of the GLA election campaign. The front page of this leaflet is scanned here:

http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd236/johne326/London_GLA_p1a.jpg

The lower image, of three Muslim women, is immeadiately recognisable to me, but I can't track down where/when it was taken and which newspaper it appeared in. Perhaps in Blackburn, during the 'Jack Straw veil' debate a year or two ago? Does anybody else recognise it?

Any help would be gratefully received.
best
John
