National Library of Scotland recently migrated its library management system to a new server.  If your organisation accesses NLS catalogues using z39.50 and/or the Ex Libris Voyager-to-Voyager protocols it may be necessary to make changes to the configuration of your systems including altering firewall rules.  An updated version of the Library’s z39.50 and Voyager-to-Voyager configuration details is available http://www.nls.uk/catalogues/z3950.html

• Database name remains voyager

Voyager

• host name for Voyager-to-Voyager has changed nlsapp.nls.uk

• port numbers remain unchained see http://www.nls.uk/catalogues/z3950.html#voyager

Firewall

• Underlying IP may need to be changed from 193.130.15.12 or 129.215.166.53  to 193.130.15.14
