Led by John Vincent this event is an opportunity for library staff to increase their awareness of the library and information needs of older people.  The day is hosted by the East of England branch of Cilip and includes the annual AGM to which all members are welcome
 
Outline Programme
Introduction to key themes/aims of the day - John Vincent (The Network)
Overview - Looking at the needs of older people - Mervyn Eastman (Director, Better Government for Older People)
Sharing good practice:

*	Cambridgeshire's "EngAGE" Outreach and IT - Maggie Brown

Workshops
*             What other services do we actually provide to elderly active and elderly frail?
*             Challenges - what else should we be doing? 
*             Action planning - how are we going to develop new/different services to meet the needs of elderly active & elderly frail?
