Yes, in last update there are changes on globus-gass-cache and gobus-jobmanager to improve LCG CE performance. However, the changes specially globus-gass-cache also affects WN, as you already saw, globus-gass-cache doesn't work properly on WNs, there are extra warning and error messages when using globus-job-run, although job still can get output. In this case, job submitted through WMS still works. For the moment, please don't upgrade vdt_globus_jobmanager_common on WNs. We will release a fix as soon as possible.
