The 2008 AGM of ACLAIIR (Advisory Council on Latin American and Iberian Information Resources) will take place at the Institute for the Study of the Americas (ISA), University of London, on Wednesday June 25 at 11:30. The afternoon will be devoted to a seminar, 'Researching contemporary history as it happens: the case of Hugo Chávez', at which the speakers will be Julia Buxton, Richard Gott and Hazel Marsh.
