This is an excellent opportunity for
a degree qualified GIS professional to launch their career within a well
established and thoroughly professional GI solutions provider. The vacancy provides a brilliant
opportunity to develop consultancy and application building skills whilst
enjoying the benefits of being out and about rather than deskbound. The client can genuinely offer a long
term, structured career in customer/client-focused technical support and
consultancy.
Daily routine is very varied and
will encompass consultancy, application development, pre-sales support and
training to a growing number of customers within the Utilities and Telecomms
industries. Experience of working
within the utility or telecomms market would be a bonus but is by no means
essential if you are confident of your database and peoplecentric
skills.
You
will interact directly with clients, either individually or with other sales and
technical support staff. helping potential customers to
realise the benefits of their GIS investment and helping existing customers to
use their technology to its full potential.
You
must be an excellent communicator with proven ability in customer-facing
situations. You must be able to
work effectively either independently or as part of a team. As a business professional you are a
creative, innovative, logical thinker, quick to grasp new
concepts.
