Position: GIS Quality & Training Co-ordinator
Location: London
Salary: £28000 + Excellent Bonus package + Benefits + vehicle
Start: ASAP

Generics client, who are clear leaders in their field of expertise, have a 
vacancy for a GIS Quality & Training Co-ordinator circa 5 years+ 
experience. Based from their offices in Central London, the role will 
include fully expense paid UK & International business travel.

Purpose of the position:

The GIS Quality & Training co-ordinator is responsible for quality 
actions, training and methods; which enables the client sector to produce 
superior databases. You will be responsible for the quality of the 
databases under your control.

Main Accountabilities:

• Follow-Up process quality and interact in case of process-deficiencies 
in order to suspend processes on short notice and initiate corrective 
actions in cooperation with staff.
• Organize and realize trainings for employees and partner organisations 
that they are on the same education & training level and apply the valid 
processes, specs and tools. 
• To supervise, that everyone in sector and partner organisations is 
working with the same actual documents (specifications, methods,
guidelines) to have uniform working-methods and tools.
• Develop and make quality checks of the surveyed data of the employees to 
get control of data collection quality and individual performance.
• Develop and execute quality audits of the produced data in order to get 
control on whole process quality or in order to get quality statements for 
business critical features, attributes and relationships • Be Key User for 
TA-Mapper and DBO-Methods and answer technical questions related to tools, 
specs and processes (first line helpdesk) • Install, check and roll-out 
hardware and tools in co-operation with ICT • Data Handling of database 
releases and fealings • Responsible for QMS compliance within 
organization. 
• Responsible for 500,000km of Network Datasets
 
Personal Traits:

Highly sought candidates will have 3 to 5 years experience in a GIS 
environment& in a similar role and should be reliable, efficient & 
clearly spoken at all levels and have a mind for solving problems.
 
Technical skills required
 
(either ArcGIS, ArcView or Mapinfo) Microsoft Excel, Access & Word
