GIS Network Modelling Analyst - Surrey

 

My client is a consultancy is seeking a GIS Network Modelling Analyst to join their expanding GIS and Network Modelling divisions.

You will be involved in GIS data capture, translation, cleansing, loading, spatial analysis, reporting and visualization tasks on environmental and water engineering related projects. For example, some tasks may include volumetric calculation derived from DTMS, flood plain mapping, site identification, corridor selection and environmental constraints mapping.

The role will also involve performing basic network modelling on either clean water or wastewater network models. For example, asset data processing, model construction from GIS/Asset data, model analysis, results presentation and reporting and field data collection.

A large part of this role will be dealing with internal clients and Project Managers; therefore, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months experience using GIS software or a recent GIS Graduate with knowledge of OS datasets.
