Hi Christian,

following up this previous discussion, can you please explain in detail how
to do these steps?

you'd want to use the correct 3D volumes contained in the different
melodic_IC files and combine these, e.g. using pseudo-mixed effects by
averaging and dividing by their standard deviation.

what is "the correct 3D volumes contained in the different melodic_IC files"
For every run of the data, the melodic generated a melodic_IC file, which is
 the correct one?
what is the command to combine these melodic file or how to do it by GUI?
how to implement the pseudo-mixed effect?

Use fslroi ti extract the relevant volumes first, then combine the different
default mode maps using fslmarge into a single 4D file.

Which is the "relevant volumes", if want to look at the default network?

Finally, use fslmaths to average, calculate the standard deviation and
combine these two quantities into a new map. You can threshold this map
using mm, the  mixture-modeling tool.

Thanks in advance
