CONTRACT - Statistician Business Type: Pharmaceutical Position Type: Contract Location: South East of the UK Salary: GBP 45 - 55 per hour Background: This assignement will be operating within a Global Pharmaceutical Company for an initial period of 6 months with projections expecting extension of the contract already. Principal tasks would include; * Write statistical analysis plans. * Ensures that statistical methods, programming algorithms, data presentations, output deliveries, and timing and load of work are sufficient detailed to execute the analysis smoothly. * Checks appropriateness of planned analysis. * Assess impact of subjects withdrawn/lost to follow-up and deviations from planned trial design. * Check validity of distribution assumptions and impact of outliers. * Document methods and procedures used in the analysis and decisions made about data handling * Supervise, write and assist in programming statistical outputs and their validation.
