OECD data come ‘alive’ with the OECD Factbook
2008, featuring new dynamic online diagrams, and at a lower price.

The electronic version of the
<http://www.sourceoecd.org/factbook>2008 OECD
Factbook has been transformed to include animated
diagrams of the key indicators, bringing the data
alive for users visually. The interactive graphs
enable students to clearly observe trends in the
statistics and interact with the data to perform
their chosen comparisons between
countries.
compliment the interactive tables and graphs to
aid information discovery. All the statistics in
the online version of the 2008 Factbook include
links to the underlying data and analysis in
Excel spreadsheets, via StatLink, for users to encapsulate in their work.

The OECD Factbook: Economic, Environmental and
Social Statistics covers the whole spectrum of
OECD statistics in one go. The 2008 edition is
available at a new lower price of £25, €35 or
$50. The electronic version, complete with
interactive diagrams, is available free online or
on the rather unique OECD USB key. The USB key
includes the OECD in Figures and plenty of space
for the users own document storage, it is the
ultimate in portable statistics (price: £18, €25
or $35). Access or order at:

important areas such as tertiary education,
migration statistics, labour compensation, and
nuclear energy as well as increased data for key
non-OECD Member Countries, Brazil, Chile, China,
Estonia, India, Israel, Russia, Slovenia and
South Africa. The Factbook is unique in bringing
together, in an accessible and highly usable
form, comparative international data and expert
commentary on most areas of economic and public policy debate, including:

· Population and migration trends
· Economic growth rates, trade and globalisation
· Consumer price index, purchasing power and taxation
· Energy supply and oil prices
· Employment and unemployment rates and trends
· Expenditure on research and development
· Communication and internet access
· Environmental indicators and trends
· Government debt and expenditures on
education, health, law and order, defence, and infrastructure.
