ITU use their blood gas machine. Others got through Abbott Architects in
laboratory.

The lactate is indicated in patient with SUSPECTED sepsis not just confirmed
cases.

Subject: Provision of rapid lactate results in patients with sepsis

Dear All,

Has anybody got any advice / experience regarding the provision of rapid
lactate results as part of the surviving sepsis guidelines?

Are people using blood gas machines at point of care or in the lab? Other
rapid methods found to work well?

Many thanks.

Chris
