Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management

I am pleased to announce that The CALM Network, in association with Goldsmiths, University of London, is now accepting registrations for a new cohort of participants on a Coaching and Mentoring programme starting in London on 25^th June 2008. Completion of the programme leads to the award of a Level 5 Certificate accredited by the ILM.

This programme builds on the success of a pilot programme run by The CALM Network and the Staff Development Forum in 2007/8. This programme has enabled19 Staff and Organisational Developers in 15 higher education institutions across the UK to become active coaches and champions of internal coaching and mentoring programmes. Several participants reported that the learning experience has transformed their professional learning and development practice.

The new  programme runs from June 2008 to January 2009 and requires a commitment to:

• Attend four face to face workshops in London
• Participate in five coaching practice set meetings (some of which may be arranged regionally)
• Join in a blended learning experience using Goldsmiths’ learn.gold virtual learning environment
• Complete a minimum of 12 hours supervised coaching and mentoring practice
• Submit two conventional written assignments of 1500 to 5000 words each.

Please see the attached flyer for more details. The programme fee is £1800 which may be paid in one go or in two separate payments of £900, in order to spread the cost over two financial years.
