Chair in Autism - School of Psychology, Cardiff University Reference: 2008/0168 Closing date: 24 April 2008 Type: Academic Research and Senior Salary: A point on the Professorial Salary Scale. To lead and develop research in autism spectrum disorders and related developmental conditions. Duties will reflect the seniority of the post, and include applying for appropriate grants and related forms of scholarship, with the expectation that the research will be of international standing and will lead to advances in the understanding of autism spectrum disorders (such as their diagnosis, amelioration or treatment). At least in the first five years of the post, there will be no requirement to contribute to teaching.
