Dear all
Just to say that I am presenting a paper on the challenge of contemporary death
for social work. I'm also contributing to a workshop on research ethics -
arising from work in the UK SW Research Strategy Group.

Subject: IASSW Congress, Durban 2008
Dear members,
The 34th. Biannual Congress of the International Association of Schools
of Social Work (IASSW) is being held in
July 2008. The theme is 'Transcending Global-Local Divides: Challenges
for Social Work Education and Practice'.
Professor Vishanthie Sewpaul chairs the local Organising Committee.
The deadline for abstracts is 31 January: could we please let each other
know of any plans to attend? 'Health' is one of the themed practice
contexts; but really health is interwoven with many of the themes
listed.
I'll be glad to hear from you.
Best wishes,
Lindsey.
