Dear Colleagues

 

The disability research group of Leeds Metropolitan University is holding a one day conference on April 16 2008, at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

The conference is an excellent opportunity to gain awareness of, and contribute to, the wide range of important disability research going on at Leeds Met. The conference features key note talks from Professor Alan Hurst of UCLA and Helen Smith and colleagues from Leeds Met, brief "showcase" talks from researchers at Leeds Met and an opportunity for round table discussions.

The conference is free and lasts all day, but colleagues may attend for only part of the day. A provisional programme for the day is attached.
