The University of Wolverhampton warmly invites you to our seminar as
part of the DEP seminar series celebrating and sharing our work to
support disabled students in Higher Education.

Enabling Higher Education

The findings shared here focus on disabled students pre-conceptions and
actual experiences of university with the aim of exploring aspects of
good practice and areas for further development.

Presenters: Suzanne Charles & Liz Southern.



Addressing Accessibility: Dyslexic students and paperwork

The findings of a small scale research project have led to the
development of a visual, verbal and aural facility to be made available
through the University web site to further support the needs of dyslexic
students.

Presenter: Liz Norton.



Developments in supporting BSL teaching: how E-Pebblepad can facilitate
BSL learning and reflective skills using webcam

 This research supports the wider aims of visual formats positively
impacting on the learning experience of disabled students.
