19th International Conference on Spectral Line Shapes. 15-20 June 2008, Valladolid (Spain) We are pleased to announce that the 19th International Conference on Spectral Line Shapes (ICSLS) will be held on June 15-20, 2008 in Valladolid, Spain. This biennial conference is the main international forum for both fundamental and applied works dealing with processes related to the formation of the spectral line profiles and with their use for diagnostic purposes. On the fundamental side, the study of the line profiles reveals the underlying atomic and molecular interactions. On the practical side, the line profiles are employed as powerful diagnostic tools specially in plasmas, in order to study both fundamental aspects as well as industrial applications. All sessions will be held at the XVII century 'Palacio de Congresos Conde Ansúrez', close to Valladolid downtown. The Conference will consist of invited lectures (45 min or 30 min), oral contributions (15 min) and poster presentations.
