Islington Heritage Service is looking for 2 enthusiastic people to join its team in the Local History Centre and the brand new Islington Museum. The post holders will contribute to all aspects of the service. They will
· assist with the research and setting up of exhibitions and education activities
· provide frontline customer service
· answer museum and local history enquiries
· supervise a team of volunteers
· assist in cataloguing museum and heritage collections
The successful candidates will have an interest in local history, the arts and museums and possess experience of working in a similar environment. Some retail experience would be desirable. One post is fulltime and the other is part-time
