subscription agency, intermediary and/or journal publishing company and have
a wide range of contacts in the industry. The role is international in scope
and some travel is a requirement. There is no necessity to be resident in
the UK.

		The work entails:
		Writing and editing ASA News
Designing and organising the annual conference
Representing the ASA by writing papers, making presentations
and attending appropriate meetings
Representing the interests of the ASA on standards and other
similar bodies and associations
Representing the ASA to Publishers as required
Handle, together with the Treasurer, the ASA finances
Promote the ASA to potential new members and renew existing
ones
		Organise AGM and committee meetings
Undertake cooperative projects within the ASA
Provide advice to members on non-competitive issues
Liaise with the executive committee and membership through
email and meetings.
