Apologies for cross posting POST: CLINICAL LIBRARIAN LOCATION: ROYAL PRESTON HOSPITAL BAND: 6 HOURS 37.5 GRADE: £23,458 - £31,779 Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Knowledge and Library Service is seeking a Clinical Librarian to join our multiprofessional library service. The post holder will be responsible for the continued development of an established Clinical Librarian Service providing quality filtered research evidence directly to health professionals, to support clinical decision making and the delivery of expert searches. The role will also involve the development and delivery of training programmes in evidence based searching. You should have a first degree or postgraduate qualification in Librarianship and/or Information Science and ideally have experience of working in a health library. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential together with a good knowledge of IT, a sound knowledge of health information resources and experience of complex enquiries and searching.
