Quite - I believe that Dewey is owned and licensed by OCLC. When we  
used it for a JISC project (OCLC were partners) the licensing was  
really strict and we were not actually allowed to reveal the Dewey  
class codes in the final collection.

I don't see how a proprietary classification system is acceptable in  
this day and age.
