recently a local hospital proposed that with change in JHD hrs, their contract should stipulate that they were on the wards all the time, that the JHD mess be closed and converted to (you guessed it) admin offices, and JHDs should bring in their own sarnies for over nite duties. fortunately the manager was told to go forth.
