Salary around £28,000 plus bonus & fully expensed car

 

 

The client builds bespoke and customised GIS solutions for a range of businesses, predominantly within the local government sector.  Their solutions are based upon state of the art geospatial technology which is both powerful yet intuitively easy to use.

 

New business development is a key focus in the increasingly competitive world of GIS and my client is addressing this requirement with the appointment of a GIS Business Support Consultant

 

What does the job involve?

The job on offer is very varied and involves plenty of time out of the office.  Responsibilities are centred on providing business and technical input into business meetings with new customers.  This usually takes the form of determining what functionality the client wants from their GIS investment, writing small demo application programs incorporating the client’s own data and then demonstrating the power of the system to the customer.
