Planning Technician, Start: ASAP, 9 Month contract, Market Rate (quotes), Derbyshire My client is looking for a Temporary Planning Technician to work at their offices in Derbyshire. You will be required to maintain relevant databases to keep statistical records up to date; maintain their GIS to produce digitised and hard copy mapping information and analysis. You will carry out residential and industrial availability surveys and social or floor space surveys along with computerised analysis, collation of information and the presentation of reports. The successful candidate will also undertake plan drawing and diagrammatic drawing work as well as accurate data collection, statistical analysis and presentation of findings in reports. Using ArcView, you will maintain the plotting sheets, land terrier and ordnance survey data, upgrading and reviewing as necessary. Your own transport/current full driving licence is needed to attend public exhibitions and other work related projects.
