Customer Analytics Expert with GIS background Job Reference 100308-EBSTM £35,000 plus excellent benefits Location: Nottingham This is a first-class opportunity for an experienced business analyst to hone their skills on some of the business world’s most challenging projects. The role combines a number of disciplines, typically complex data analysis, statistical analysis, consultancy and project/man management In-depth experience of statistical analysis and programming s is paramount to this role. In addition, the ideal applicant, as well as being a highly motivated self-starter, will have the following skills: ¨ Good working knowledge of SAS. In this role SAS is the engine used for the manipulation, aggregation and presentation of customer data. ¨ Strong on MS Excel. ¨ Some use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS*) ¨ Experience of demographic/spatial data manipulation ¨ Degree in Mathematics or Statistics (or other numerate discipline) ¨ Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis techniques (such as Clustering, Regression, Logistic regression, Chaid, Gravity and Turnover modelling ) ¨ Strong inter-personal skills and the potential to manage a small team of data analysts. ¨ The ability to communicate technical results to non-technical personnel Interested, then please submit a copy of your CV in MS Word format to Alan Carnell.
