Honoris Causa
The University of Oviedo,
Spain is granting to Professor Walter Alvarez (Department of Earth and
Planetary Science, University of California Berkeley, USA) a Honoris
Causa Degree for his contributions to the development of Earth
Sciences.
The ceremony will be held on
March 28th, 2008 at the "Paraninfo" of the
University.
