Dear all,

Two PhDs in structural geology and tectonics are available at the Australian
School of Petroleum, University of Adelaide

"Compressional Deformation and Uplift of Australia's 'Passive' Southern Margin"
Dr. Simon Holford and Professor Richard Hillis
This project will determine the distribution, chronology and causes of
Cenozoic deformation and uplift along Australia’s ‘passive’ southern margin
and assess the implications for hydrocarbon exploration.

If you are interested please send your CV to Simon Holford

"Structural Evolution of Delta to Deepwater Fold-Thrust Belt Systems"
Dr. Ros King and Professor Richard Hillis
This study aims to analyse the tectonics and present-day stress of oil-rich
delta and deepwater fold-thrust belt systems worldwide: including the Brunei
and Mahakham Deltas (Borneo); the Nile Delta (Egypt); the Gulf of Mexico
Deltas (USA), and; the Kura Delta (Azerbaijan).
