LEARNING AND TEACHING IN ECONOMICS AWARDS 2008

We are pleased to invite nominations from the economics community for our
annual learning and teaching awards. The awards are open to UK-based
academics that have, within the constraints that all academics find
themselves under, demonstrated excellent commitment, enthusiasm and
effectiveness in their teaching practices.

There are three categories this year:

The Outstanding Teaching Award is given in recognition of exemplary teaching
practice that encourages understanding of and inspires interest in economics.

The Student nominated award is for UK-based academics.

The eLearning Award is given in recognition of innovative good practice in
the use of eLearning to enhance economics teaching and to provide a
stimulating learning experience for economics students.
