*Postdoctoral Fellowship: * The Stanford Cognitive and Systems Neuroscience
Laboratory ( http://scsnl.stanford.edu ) invites applications invited for a
Cognitive Developmental Neuroscience postdoctoral fellowship. This is an
exciting opportunity to work on NIH-funded projects involving fMRI, sMRI,
DTI, EEG and TMS of cognitive development and specific learning disabilities
in children. The successful candidate will develop a vigorous research
program that contributes to, and complements, ongoing studies. The candidate
will have access to state-of-the-art MRI, EEG and computational facilities.
We seek candidates with strong research backgrounds in one or more of the
following areas: brain and cognitive development, cognitive neuroscience,
and computational and statistical modeling of brain imaging data. Please
email a CV, a statement of research interests and career goals, and three
letters of recommendation to Dr. Vinod Menon at [log in to unmask] .

Laboratory ( http://scsnl.stanford.edu) invites applications for a 2-year
postdoctoral fellowship in the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience
of music, language and auditory information processing. We offer an exciting
opportunity to work on a multidisciplinary NSF-funded project with Drs.
Vinod Menon (Neuroscience and Psychiatry, Stanford), Daniel Levitin
(Psychology and Music, McGill) and Jonathan Berger (Music, Stanford). The
successful candidate will develop a vigorous research program that
contributes to, and complements, high-profile ongoing studies. The
post-doctoral fellow will have access to state-of-the-art fMRI, EEG, and
computational facilities. We seek candidates with a strong background of

opportunity to work on NIH-funded projects involving brain imaging studies
of cognitive function and dysfunction, cognitive development and learning
disabilities. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of
research related to lab projects, including assembling assessment
instruments, screening and recruiting subjects, obtaining informed consent,
scheduling subjects for testing, tracking progress of the study, designing
and programming fMRI and EEG experiments, acquiring, archiving and analyzing
fMRI, MRI, DTI, EEG and behavioral data, verifying data and entering
pertinent information into database for statistical analysis, and assistance
with manuscript preparation. A bachelor's degree in psychology,
neuroscience, human biology, biomedical engineering, biological computation
or related fields is required. A strong academic record is essential;
previous research experience with fMRI, statistical analysis and computer
programming will be viewed favorably. A minimum commitment of two years is
required. This is a full-time position slated to start in the summer of 2008
