I have been trying to run DCM analysis on some fMRI data, but found that I got quite different results when the VOIs were defined by cluster vs. by sphere (6 or 5mm). Could some DCM experts tell me exact the mathematical reason behind it? and what are the advantages and disadvantages of choosing VOI based on cluster vs. sphere?
