I'd rather entrust the job to a company that offers a secure service including collection, transit, and destruction.

in the States a paper recycling firms normally do collection, transit and destruction. All one need do is transport yourself to the site and observe the destruction. Onsite destruction vehicles are not designed to handle blocks of dried paper, they are designed to handle loose paper,
