Dear fellow lighting tutors

Please find attached details of the Michael Northen Bursary for 2008.

This is a competition for student lighting designers, judged by figures in the industry, for any realised work between July 2007 and end of June 2008 (to all intents and purposes this academic year)

There are three prizes on offer. The ALD would like to make the competition more of a platform for soon to be graduate LD to launch themselves into the world of work. The number of submissions has been very low in recent years. Whilst we don’t want to over load the judges, if we had more submissions there could be a chance for honourable mentions for near winners.

Please take the time to promote this opportunity to your students.

Many thanks
