Don't forget the question of design of your bookplates - the website of the Bookplate Society www.bookplatesociety.org may inspire a few thoughts, though it doesn't have many explicit recommendations. Eton deserves the best in bookplate style - it may of course have its own tame engravers/designers on tap!
