Salary £16-17k pro rata
Part-time, 20 hours per week
Based in Birmingham



The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is one of the world's leading health and safety organisations.  The Information Centre provides information services to RoSPA's members, staff and the general public. 

We have a vacancy for an IT literate person who enjoys customer contact to join our small team providing a variety of information services.  Duties will include

	*	Answering a wide range of enquiries from the Centre's users.
	*	Cataloguing, indexing and abstracting new stock using Sydney Plus Library Management System

You will have a recognised degree or postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in Library/Information Studies, and some experience of providing an enquiry service.  You will have used computerised information services such as online web databases.  Use of a LMS and experience of input to a bibliographic database would be an advantage. You must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Above all, you will be committed to making sure the service we offer our customers is nothing short of excellent.
