Basic
salary around £30,000 with uncapped commission
potential.
My client is an exceptionally
profitable, fast growing business within the location-based services
sector. Their products are enabled
by GIS software and are rapidly approaching ‘best in class’ status within both
public and private business sectors.
They are able to offer a unique
opportunity to an individual who can boast a record of achievement in selling
decision support or more general concept-centred services and who now feels
ready to move their career into business consultancy.
We envisage the perfect candidate as
being a GeoInformation professional with proven ability to research target
companies and then open doors and sow the seeds of interest to decision
makers. You’ll be interacting with
senior managers who want to know more about their markets and customers. You could have gained this experience
through direct sales, tele-sales, presales support or
consultancy.
To
succeed in this job you must be industrious, organised and possess a confident,
personable style of communication.
Whilst there is a healthy business pipeline awaiting this individual this
no Account Manager role. There are
new markets to explore so a new business generator is the preferred choice! Of great importance is the confidence in
your ability to engage potential customers and be able to keep your ‘thinking
head’ on. If you have this, my
client will groom you to be able to deliver polished, effective presentations to
any level of customer in a professional manner. Additionally you should be methodical
and organised, able to manage your own day and get the best out of
others.
Lastly, you should be a team player
who can thrive within a team of technical and admin work colleagues who are
ready and willing to provide the level of support and professionalism expected
of a top company.
