Geostatistical Analyst with GIS experience Job Reference 010208-CSSA £45,000 plus excellent benefits Northwest London location This is a first-class opportunity for an experienced geospatial data professional to hone their skills on some of the business world’s most challenging projects. The role combines a number of disciplines, typically complex data analysis, statistical analysis, data modelling and data mining. In-depth experience of spatial modelling and advanced statistical analysis techniques is paramount to this role. In addition, the ideal applicant, as well as being a highly motivated self-starter, would have the following skills: ¨ Good working knowledge of SAS, Version 8 or higher, ideally. In this role SAS is the engine used for the manipulation, aggregation and presentation of a range of large data sets. In-depth experience of SPSS will also be considered. ¨ Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Geographic Information Systems (GIS*) ¨ Experience of demographic/spatial data manipulation ¨ Degree in Mathematics or Statistics (or other numerate discipline) ¨ Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis techniques (such as Clustering, Regression, Logistic regression, Chaid, Gravity and Turnover modelling) ¨ Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate technical results to non-technical individuals Interested, then please call me, Alan Carnell of Concurrent Appointments on 01582 712976 and talk to me in confidence about your relevance and suitability for this exceptional opportunity.
