Dear All,
Northampton Museum and Art Gallery offers a facilitated active learning session for schools called “Looking at Sculpture”. This session has in the past used smaller sculptures from the museums’ main collection, which children were not able to handle. After reviewing this activity Northampton Museums would like to develop this session to enable children to handle the artwork, learn more about how the works are created, and gain a deeper understanding of sculpture as an art form.
