Subject: Consultation on English requirements for spouses prior to
entry to UK

A reminder for those wanting to stem the tide of profoundly illiberal
policy initiatives emanating from the Home Office. The consultation on
whether there should be a pre-entry English requirement for spouses
entering the UK is curretly underway and comes to an end on 27
February.
This move figured in the Green Paper released on Wednesday. It would
have a huge impact on women and children in particular. I would urge
you to respond.
James
