The UKIC will definitely be interested.  They collate repeat offenders and then go and get them.  Do, please, use the PECR reporting document on the website and email it in.

The technical phrase for their spiel rhymes with rollocks!

When I asked why they were calling me, on account of me being on the TPS, they said "this isn't a sales call - we are just letting you know we are in your area and asking if you'd like us to drop in a leaflet".

They stuck to the "it's not a sales call" line, so I tried a different tack: "where did you get my phone number from". "A government database" (likely story, do the government have opt-in databases of grumpy old men, or people with dodgy guttering).

And about my TPS "are you sure there's not a fault with your TPS registration" (err, yes, I'm fairly sure). <fx: tap tap> "No you aren't listed here" - so if it's not a sales call why give your telephonists access to an alleged TPS database??

These may well be the culprits: http://www.virgohomeimprovements.co.uk/
