Hi

We have recently installed a building block (Image Board) on our Blackboard test server. The building block appears in the Communication area on all existing courses and also with newly created ones.

What we would like to do is make the building block unavailable across all courses so that an instructor can go into the Control Panel and click the checkbox to make it available for that course.

So far I have found that you can either turn it on (at Sys Admin level) so that it appears in the Communication area for all to access, or you turn if off so that it doesn’t appear at all and not even in the course Control Panel for it to be switched on by an instructor.

Maybe an sql script could sort out the existing courses?

For new courses I was wondering if there is a config file or a course template id you can specify in a snapshot file.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Many thanks in advance.

Phil
