I base it on Blackboard roles. I have a script that I can run (in Linux) that creates the folders and another one that gives student read only access and Instructors/Teaching Assitants full access.

Do you grant staff permissions to the appropriate Institution folder
based on, say their properties in Active Directory? or a Blackboard
role? or some other way?
