Visit to the University of the West of Scotland Hamilton Campus Library
and Hamilton Town House Library

The Career Development Group (Scottish Division) is organising a visit
to the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) Hamilton Campus Library
(formerly Bell College Library) and Hamilton Town House Library on
Tuesday 25th March 2008 at 1.15 p.m.

This would be an excellent opportunity to see the diversity of the
library profession, as both libraries are very different, catering for
different types of users and collections.=20
=20
The visit will start at UWS Hamilton Campus Library and will include the
lending, reference and journal collections, WiFi room and IT facilities,
electronic resources and government publications.

The visit will then move on to the Hamilton Town House Library, a short
walk from UWS and includes a tour of the lending services, children's
library, special collections e.g. reading group and community languages,
the activeIT Learning Centre and Information Services.=20

A limited number of reserved parking spaces will be available at UWS -
